Only Education based contributors are permitted. If you would like to be involved with a research project on our website the following criteria must be met:
1. You must be either employed or enrolled at a University.
2. If you are a student, you must provide two references from the faculty of the University in which you are enrolled.
3. Your research design and hypothesis must be submitted in advance for review.
4. All response data will be stored exclusively on our secure servers and the data output will exclude any and all personal identification or potentially self identifying information about the participants. We will not provide any personal data to researchers.
5. We welcome a very wide range of research topics provided it has a scientific based foundation, however, if we determine that the design or its content is biased, agenda based, or offensive we reserve the right to reject the research design.
6. Participation is approved on a case by case basis.
We welcome any and all ideas for the next fun and entertaining content feature for our website. If you are intereted in becoming involved with EMB we welcome your ideas to become involved. Please understand this is a project that is maintained by volunteers who are motivated by the pleasure of contributing creative quizzes or simply enjoy participating in creative science. We are limited to how much content we can add to the site. We will do our best to add any interesting content that our users contribute to the site.
Yes, we will include any participating researchers contact information on this page. Please note that the project may not be directly associated with the named University as it is common practice of students and researchers to test research designs and ideas before committing to an academic project with their University. This is one of the main challenges for students is finding an avenue to test ideas without a substantial cost to gain access to participants. This was a one reason we built EMB as a creative testing platform. EMB is frequently used as a catch all testing platform for research ideas for the purpose of identifying if any interesting relationships exist that may be worth further academic exploration.
